PASTOR'S CORNER
Dr. Cedric N. Belcher, Sr. is a proud graduate of Oakwood College, now Oakwood University, with a BA in Theology and a minor in Psychology. He is also a graduate of the Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University, with a Master of Divinity Degree and a Doctor of Ministry Degree.
He has served in several leadership and administrative positions, some of which includes:
- President, Seminary Student Forum, SDA Theological Seminary, Andrews University, Berrien Springs, MI
- President, Oakwood College Theology Forum, Religion Department, Oakwood College, Huntsville, AL
- Co-host for the Launching of Net 98’, Unite*Ignite, at Pioneer Memorial Church, Berrien Springs, MI.
- Member of the Alpha Chi Honor Society and the American Academy of Distinguished StudentsServed on the Executive Committee of the Southwest Region Conference of Seventh-day Adventist
He has been in pastoral ministry now for about eleven (11) years. Currently he is the pastor of the Allon Chapel Seventh-day Adventist Church in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Dr. Belcher is married to Dr. Sonya Gray Belcher, the love of his life. She has a PhD in Counseling Psychology. They have three lovely children: Grabriella Devanee Kou-Senee Belcher, eight (8) years old; Angellina Yah-Laseah Belcher, six (6) years old, and Cedric N. Belcher, Jr. four (4) years old.
Dr. Belcher loves people and his greatest desire is to make it to the Kingdom of Heaven and to help others make it there as well.
