Church Community Ministries Leader:

Church-wide Care Team Leader:
Spiritual Gifts: Leadership, Administration, Encouragement, Mercy
Serve as the primary communication point for all incidents of major sickness, hospitalization, and loss. Assess the needs and preferences of the member/family determining how the church can best assist. Additionally, develop a ministry plan describing how the CCT will respond to member/family, communicate the incident and ministry plan to the CCT Coordinators, and to the general church membership specifying how members might assist in ministry. Oversee the CCT implementation of the ministry plan.

Card Ministry Coordinator/Team
Spiritual Gifts: Encouragement, Helps, and Mercy
Make provision so that members and attendees with a major sickness, hospitalization, or a loss will receive a card of encouragement on behalf of the Allon Chapel SDA Church. This card should uplift and support the member who may be struggling. Follow up cards or calls may be needed.

Visitation Team
Spiritual Gifts: Encouragement, Mercy, Discernment
This position exists to lead a team of passionate care givers in visiting members who are ill, hospitalized, or suffering the loss of a loved one. Visits are to encourage and uplift members who are suffering physically or mentally. Prayer is a positive aspect to visiting and should be made with positive and encouraging words.

Meal Preparation Coordinator/Team
Spiritual Gifts: Helps, Hospitality, Crafting/Craftsmanship
This position exists to lead a team of Allon Chapel SDA Church culinary experts in preparing and delivering meals to members who are ill, suffering the loss of a family member, or recovering from a hospital stay.

Funeral Planning Coordinator Team
Spiritual Gifts: Mercy, Wisdom, Administration, Helps, Service
Serve as a mediator between member and funeral facility on behalf of Allon Chapel SDA Church. Assess the needs of the member during time of loss, develop a ministry team to assist and support with knowledgeable funeral information, and oversee ministry team and provide up to date information on latest funeral planning guides.

Church-wide Fellowship Deaconate Team Leader:
Spiritual Gifts: Organization, Service, Leadership, Helps, and Administration
Assists and oversees a church-wide social function at least 1 time per quarter as well as assists and monitors quarterly organization of church wide potlucks or hospitality activities.

Appreciations/Recognitions Team
Spiritual Gifts: Discernment, Wisdom, Encouragement, Hospitality
Appreciate and recognize individuals’ willingness to be used by Christ. Position will work with all ministries to recognize individuals for their contributions to the body of Christ. They will plan and carry out specific recognition events (ie birthdays, welcoming new members, etc).

Hospitality Team
Spiritual Gifts: Hospitality, Helps, Service
Position is in charge of organizing potlucks for entire church family, this includes other services not on Sabbath as well. Coordinator and team would ensure that the facilities are in working order, paper goods, tables, chairs, etc. are available. Hospitality activities are also to be planned, such as evening dinners, MLT meeting breakfast, etc.

Socials Team
Spiritual Gifts: Creative Communication, Hospitality, Administration
This position is in charge of organizing and executing activities and socials that will unite and encourage the congregation to participate in fun, bonding, and relational activities. Responsible for organizing and implementing church wide socials, organize a team to plan festivities as well as conduct set-up/clean-up for these functions.

*Church Ordinance Ministries Team Leader: vacant
Spiritual Gifts: Administration, Knowledge, Leadership, Wisdom
Communicate and meet regularly with team members to creatively plan for church ordinances. Also, oversee the implementation of all church ordinances, recommend/develop/formulate Allon Chapel’s church ordinance policies/guidelines to the Mission Leadership Team (Church Board), and serve as the primary consultant on church ordinance policies at Allon Chapel.

*Baptismal Services Team Leader
Spiritual Gifts: Administration, Leadership, Wisdom
Serve as the primary leader for the baptismal services team, maintain an updated list of baptismal items, and work with the baptismal services team members in their duties.

Baptismal Services Team
Spiritual Gifts: Wisdom, Discernment, Encouragement
Prepare the pool and all baptismal garments, ensure a comfortable water depth and temperature, ensure that proper attire is provided for baptismal candidates, and assist baptismal candidates before and after baptism as needed.

*Communion Services Team Leader
Spiritual Gifts: Wisdom, Discernment, Encouragement
Prepare the wine and bread for Holy Communion, towels, basins, water, buckets, and other items needed for the service. Assist members find partners during foot washing as needed. Also, ensure proper care of the vessels and linen after the service, ensure proper disposal of any bread or wine remaining after everyone has taken part, arrange the emblems on the communion table, and assist the pastor in the service as needed.

*Communion Services Team

Provide direct leadership to the communion services team members. Serve as primary leader for the communion services team, maintain an updated list of Holy Communion items, and work with communion services team members in their duties.

Family Life Team Leader:
Spiritual Gifts: Leadership, Encouragement, Discernment, Administration
Assess the needs of families at Allon Chapel, plan to meet these needs, and organize family life seminars.

Men’s Ministries Team Leader
Spiritual Gifts: Leadership, Encouragement, Discernment, Administration
Assess the needs of men at Allon Chapel, plan to meet these needs, and lead a team of helpers in the ministry. This may also include a Bible Study Group.

Women’s Ministries Team Leader

Assess the needs of women at Allon Chapel, plan to meet these needs, and lead a team of helpers in the ministry. This may include a Bible Study Group.

Spiritual Formation Ministries Leader:

*Exploring the Word Teaching Team Leader
Spiritual Gifts: teaching, administration, knowledge, leadership
This position exists to assess the spiritual needs of the church and to facilitate specific bible studies to meet these needs.

Inquiry Class Teaching
Spiritual Gifts: Teaching, knowledge, wisdom, discernment
This position exists to primarily introduce people to Christ as their only hope of salvation. This includes an exploration of fundamental bible principles as taught by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. These principles will be taught as ‘spoke’ centered in Christ’s redemptive act. Work in close communication with the Request Processing position.

Request Processing
Spiritual Gifts: Hospitality, encouragement, evangelism, discernment, and intercession.
This position exists to provide primary support in receiving and encouraging interested individuals through the Spiritual Formation process. They will collect all decision/request cards from the pastor/worship elder after service, meet, pray with, and encourage individuals making requests immediately after service. Constantly encourage and pray with the members going through the Spiritual Formation classes.

Spiritual Gifts Class Teaching Leader
Spiritual Gifts: Teaching, Knowledge, Discernment, Wisdom
This position exists to prepare people for meaningful and fulfilling function in the body of Christ. Its primary emphasis shall be self discovery in relation to God’s gifts and intended mission for reach person. Help each class member discover their passion, spiritual gifts, and personal style.
